Tai Chi helps to improve posture, suppleness, balance, breathing and core strength and increase energy levels. There are many styles of Tai Chi, and the MKU3A Group learns the modern beginner's Yang style.
Meetings are from 08.45-9.45am for Beginners and 10.00-11.00am for Improvers.
There is a professional instructor, and the cost of lessons is dependent on the number of members in both groups.

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese wellness practice which is beneficial to a person with Parkinson’s.It combines slow, gentle movements with deep breathing and relaxation. It can benefit your physical body (posture and movement), breathing and the mind. The exercises are performed in a group setting and can be run as standing or seated exercise classes. They can be done gently or vigorously and include large and expansive movements as well as small, subtle moves.

A beginner-friendly slow flow, stretch and chill class. Mindful movement, followed by stretches and space to calm the mind. It’s a soft, soothing practice that’s gentle on the body.
